I started drumming at the age of 13 and have been playing professionally for 10 years. During this time I’ve freelanced in various bands (both covers and originals) covering genres such as Pop, Rock, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Latin, Electronic and Drum’n’bass. Highlights of my career to date have been supporting artists such as Incognito and Dina Carroll and working with renowned producer Richard Flack (Take That, Robbie Williams). I’m a keen student of the drums as I study with renowned UK based drum teach Bob Armstrong… there’s always something to learn!!
I approach any project, be it live or in the studio, from a musical point of view: putting the need of the song first. I’m very much a groove player, so I really get a kick out of making a song feel good and enhancing the lead line.
